Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Reporting to the Group CIO, you will be responsible for the consistency and efficiency of all global business applications in terms of solution design and integration. You will provide sound technical leadership in line with Asendia’s business objectives. You will support and animate the technology teams across all regions of Asendia to ensure technology is deployed efficiently, profitably, and securely, and to drive the Asendia Group technology vision in the line with business objectives.

Your Tasks
| Establish a vision for the use of technology in the Asendia Group in coordination with the technology teams of the Asendia subsidiaries. |
| Provide project support in terms of solution design and technical architecture, as well as common technical components (SSO, API layer, Exchange data PF...) including budget and schedule for the development and deployment of all technology services. |
| Monitor the technical lT landscape, and ensure it is updated, documented, and communicated |
| Coordinate and animate expert communities within the Asendia Group. |
| Oversee solution design for all global business applications. |
| Ensure technology resources meet the short and long term needs of the business and that technology practices meet regulatory standards. |
| Maintain a customer-focused perspective and support IT in the delivery of projects to market. |

Act as a mentor to team members. |
Your Profile
| You have a Master's degree in computer science or a similar subject and have 8 years' experience in a technical role and 5 years in a management position. |
| You have advanced technological knowledge and proven experience. Besides you have extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future. |
| You enjoy contributing to transversal topics, you are enthusiastic and accurate and have a pragmatic approach to moving your projects forward. |
| You are a team player and always have the team and its goals in mind in your way of working. You can delegate effectively. |
| Your strong communication skills ensure the capability of working with people of various nationalities, on varying levels of hierarchy. Colleagues can always rely on you. |
| You speak fluent English as this is our business language. Any other language is an advantage. |
