The Challenge

Since its launch in 2011, StylemyBedroom.com has sold predominantly through its UK eBay store. For the small number of international orders the business was initially using a range of different carriers. "I was frustrated with alternative delivery partners," explained Shaz Husain, managing director of StylemyBedroom.com. "Often the cost of delivery would be more than the cost of the actual item".

However, as the business grew it started to receive an increasing number of requests for orders from customers outside of the UK. In order to expand StylemyBedroom.com's international presence the business needed a delivery partner that would allow shipping to various worldwide destinations, but also have the ability to integrate the service into new lanes as demand for the business' products grew.

Since partnering with Asendia we have seen a four fold increase in international sales and profit. Previously we were shipping internationally, but on a much smaller scale. Certain products we sell have a specific appeal to international markets so being able to ship them quickly is important.
